COURSE OVERVIEW
Guided bone regeneration(GBR) is a surgical technique used to regenerate bone in areas of bone loss or where there is insufficient bone for implant placement. This course is designed to provide participating doctors with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of GBR, including bone graft materials and membrane selection, as well as the different techniques for membrane fixation, such as membrane tacks, sutures, and screws.
The course will focus on membrane selection, including different types of membranes available and their properties as well as the factors that influence membrane selection. Participants will also learn about the different techniques for membrane fixations. This course will include hand-on sessions on pigjaws in which participants will have an opportunity to practice the techniques covered in the course.
