Pilseong Kim

Course Director

Dr. Pilseong Kim is a distinguished Periodontist, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of Periodontal Diseases and Implantology. He is a Professor in the Post Graduate Program at UABC School of Dentistry, Tijuana, Mexico, Part-time Faculty at Korea University, School of Medicine Seoul, Korea, and a Lecturer in the Periodontics Department at UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Kim is also a Fellow of the American College of Dentists (FACD) and the International College of Dentists (FICD), showcasing his significant contributions and dedication to the field of dentistry.
Dr. Pilseong Kim received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry. Dr. Kim also received his Certificate of Advanced Periodontics and Implant Surgery from Loma Linda University’s School of Dentistry. Moreover, Dr. Kim has had additional training from various international institutes including Gothenburg University in Sweden. He continues to invest in his education by traveling globally in an effort to obtain the most current techniques and training available in the world.

Dr. Kim also lectures locally and internationally on advanced surgical techniques in Periodontics/Implant dentistry. Dr. Kim has served as a part-time faculty member of the Periodontics Department at the Loma Linda School of Dentistry Periodontics Department.

He has been an advisory board member for many dental industry leading companies including, Medit, MedPark, and Ossivis. Dr. Kim is a director of the Advanced Master Course at Hiossen USA.

He lectures locally and internationally on advanced surgical techniques in periodontics and implant dentistry including various topics such as GBR, Soft Tissue Management, Digital Dentistry, and Sinus Augmentation.

Furthermore, Dr. Kim has over 32 years of experience in both surgical and restorative implant dentistry.
