In the past few years with improvement of 2D dental imaging technologies and introduction of 3D CBCT, the field of Oral Radiology diagnosis has gone through a true renaissance. Today we are able to visualize different anatomical structures of the patient’s teeth and jaws clearly and with no superimposition. But the important question is are we adequately equipped with the necessary knowledge to accurately spot the abnormalities in 3D and diagnose the pathologies and propose appropriate treatment options based on radiographic findings?
