SoCal Basic Implant Course

COURSE OVERVIEW

  • Evaluating patients: anatomy, medical assessment, site volume
  • Understanding fundamentals of bone biology, wound healing, biomechanics
  • Navigating implant console, motor, surgical kit, prosthetics
  • Planning and placing implants in correct location, angulation, depth via freehanded
  • Planning an intermediate case and deciding correct size and position
  • Learning materials and methods of bone grafting and membranes
  • Restoring implants with excellent cosmetic results
  • Implementing excellent sterile technique
  • Developing good clinical decisions and clear dialogue with patient

There will be a prosthetic workshop that demonstrates DENTIS™ implant components and participants will practice drilling with dummy fixtures and models. This will be followed by a mandible model workshop. The final part of the day will include case studies from the course director.

Participants will perform live surgery that’s supervised by the course director and faculty. Registered dentists must have a case ready by the first day of the course.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Refunds are granted only if a written cancellation notification is received within 31 days before the course. 50% of the tuition minus processing fee will be refunded if cancellation occurs within 21 days before this course. No refund is granted afterwards. A $75 fee is withheld for processing. Cancellation must be notified in writing by emailing info@gdia.com.
