COURSE OVERVIEW
Implant dentistry is a prosthetically driven discipline with a surgical component. Achieving optimal restorative outcomes depends on precise implant positioning, often supported by the use of surgical guides. While experienced clinicians may place implants freehand, guided surgery offers a more conservative, efficient, and predictable approach to implant placement.
In the era of rapidly advancing digital dentistry technologies, guided implant surgery has become increasingly practical and accessible in everyday clinical practice. When properly implemented, it enables clinicians to achieve greater accuracy, consistency, and confidence in treatment outcomes.
This course provides participants with a solid foundation in guided implant surgery workflows. Attendees will learn how to design and fabricate their own surgical guides using various digital tools and resources, and how to apply these guides effectively in clinical scenarios.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to plan implant surgeries using digital software, design and fabricate their own surgical guides, and perform implant surgery utilizing surgical guides.
