COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • Techniques on how to correctly extract teeth atraumatically, knowing which instruments will enable 
    the clinician to be efficient while performing the procedure
     
  • What is ridge preservation & different options
     
  • Being able to understand basic surgical flap design and what anatomical structures to avoid
     
  • What types of flap designs are available and what is the appropriate time to use them
     
  • When to suture and when not to suture. What material to use for suturing and what post operative instructions 
    need to be given along with any medications  

COURSE SCHEDULE

  • 8:30am: Registration
  • 9:00-10:45: Lecture
  • 10:45-11: Break
  • 11:00-12:00: Introduction to Piezo, various grafting materials for ridge preservation
  • 12-1pm: Lunch
  • 1:00-3:00: Hands on extraction using models
  • 3:00-3:15: Lunch
  • 3:15-4:30: Suturing exercise, ridge preservation & partnering exercise
  • 4:30-5:00: Q &A

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Refunds are granted only if a written cancellation notification is received within 31 days before the course. 50% of the tuition minus processing fee will be refunded if cancellation occurs within 21 days before this course. No refund is granted afterwards. A $75 fee is withheld for processing. Cancellation must be notified in writing by emailing [email protected].
